Our Story
Charingworth Manor was built in local golden Cotswold stone in the early 14th century, with many of its carefully preserved interior features dating back to the time of its ownership by Edward Burnel in around 1316 – an inspired choice of location for a house.
You can see these best in our lounge with its oak beamed ceiling and mullioned windows.
The hotel is two miles from Chipping Campden, said by G M Trevelyan to possess ‘the most beautiful high street in the whole of England’,
